Creative Plans
Does your garden need pulling together? Have you struggled to create an overall layout that works for you? This day long workshop reveals a tried and tested method for planning a garden that will connect your garden to the house and make the garden feel much bigger. We will be looking at the fundamental garden design principles and spend some time thinking about how to use geometry in your garden. By the end of the day you will have created your first garden plan and take home the basic tools you need to plan your own garden.
This workshop is run in a choice of venues and your ticket includes a delicious lunch plus entry to either Bowood’s grounds or Westonbirt Arboretum making this a wonderful day out where you can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the attractions. Bowood is a grade 1 listed Georgian country house with interiors by Robert Adam and a garden designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Westonbirt Arboretum is one of the most diverse and beautiful botanical collections in the world.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: Lunch, tea/coffee with cake and entry to Westonbirt Arboretum or Bowood Gardens. You will take home your first garden plan, your own drawing kit and course handout.
