Spring Flower Posy Workshops
Using fresh Spring flowers, come and spend a relaxing morning learning how to make a beautiful hand tied posy. With step by step guidance you can take your time, crafting your own unique bouquet of seasonal blooms. You’ll learn our top tips for the spiral technique, widely used by professional florists but straightforward to master. This technique keeps your flowers in place when they are dropped into a vase. We also share a quick and simple way to wrap your bouquet so that it becomes a perfect gift wrapped present. I promise, you will be using your new skills to decorate your home and giving your friends the gift of flowers all the time after this workshop!
This workshop is run in a choice of venues and your ticket includes entry to either Bowood’s grounds or Westonbirt Arboretum making this a wonderful day out where you can spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the attractions. Bowood is a grade 1 listed Georgian country house with interiors by Robert Adam and a garden designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Westonbirt Arboretum is one of the most diverse and beautiful botanical collections in the world. The Walled Garden at Mells is a hidden gem and is found in the heart of this pretty Somerset village and offers many good walks nearby.

I recently attended one of Louise’s posy tying workshops and it was absolutely fabulous! Her teaching technique is excellent as she demonstrates first and then gives you a go. I came away from the workshop with knowledge, confidence, lots of tips and advice and two small bouquets (which I later rearranged for even more practice). I hope to attend more of Louise’s workshops as it was such great fun!l
